The Ancient Sacred Buddhist Scripture Stupas Dhammacetiya, the complex comprises 840 stupas, large and small, constructed from durable materials such as granite and hardened steel. The number 840 symbolizes the 84,000 Dhamma teachings or Dhamma aggregates (Dhammakkhandha), representing the profound, pure, and practical truths taught by the Buddha about living with mindfulness and awareness.

At the Great Sacred Site, the entire teachings of the Buddha Gotama and his holy disciples encapsulated in the Tipiṭaka, will be stored in these stupas. The Tipiṭaka consists of three collections: the Sutta (Discourses), the Vinaya (Monastic Rules), and the Abhidhamma (Higher Teachings). These scriptures will be inscribed on over 3,000 stone slabs in both Romanized Pāḷi and English. Additionally, the scriptures will be engraved on bronze plates in the languages of Buddhist countries, including Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, India, and Nepal.
