The festival commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and passing away of Buddha Gotama.
The grand ceremony includes the following programs:

– 10:30 am Alms round and meal offerings to the Sangha.
– The grand ceremony begins at 4:30 pm and concludes at 6:30 pm. The agenda includes:
– Flower offering – Incense offering – Chanting of the History of Buddha Gotama – Bodhisatta Bathing Ceremony – Transferring of merits to the living and the departed – Vegetarian dinner for all.
