We warmly invite everyone to join the venerable monks and our community for a sacred and breathtaking ceremony during the Vesak 2026 Celebration.
Together, we will illuminate the temple grounds with 24,000 candles arranged in the shape of a lotus flower—a collective prayer for global peace, compassion, and hope for all beings.
This is a unique and precious opportunity to walk peacefully among thousands of glowing flames, each one a prayer for peace, each light a symbol of loving-kindness. As you walk through the paths between the candles, may you offer your own silent meditations and heartfelt prayers for a world filled with peace and compassion.
The scene of 24,000 candles glowing in the shape of a lotus is truly magnificent and breathtaking—a sight that touches the heart and uplifts the spirit.
