Day 6 of Walk For Peace – Night of Reflection
On October 31, 2025, the monks rose before dawn to perform their morning rituals — chanting for the harmony of all nations and the protection of all living beings. Their feet carried them through another 23 miles, pausing for a mid-day meal at McBrayer Park in Lorena, Texas.
As the sun set, the pilgrims arrived at Roberts Cemetery Road and FM 2920 in Troy, Texas, where they would spend the night. Unlike other evenings, their resting place was a cemetery — a solemn reminder of life’s impermanence and the continuity of spirit.
In the stillness of night, the practitioners sat in meditation among the whispering trees and resting souls. They reflected that peace is not bound by time or place — it is a living presence within each mindful step.
🌄 As dawn approaches, the monks prepare to walk again — toward Belton, Texas, where the next chapter of this sacred journey will unfold. Each sunrise calls them forward, one step closer to peace without end.
