Walk for Peace – Day 5

Day 5 of Walk For Peace – The Steps of Compassion

On October 30, 2025, the monks awoke in quiet gratitude, marking 76 miles since the beginning of their journey. As the morning sun touched the earth, their voices filled the air once more with chanting — a prayer for unity, healing, and peace.

The pilgrims’ path led toward Veterans Memorial Park in Lacy Lakeview, Texas, where they paused to honor those who had served humanity with courage. There, they reflected on the impermanence of conflict and the timelessness of compassion.

After a simple meal and brief rest, the practitioners continued onward for another 14 miles, eventually arriving at Pat’s Gowns, 6398 I-35, Robinson, Texas, where they received permission to stay overnight.

That evening, under the quiet sky, they meditated on interdependence — realizing that each step, each breath, each act of kindness contributes to the greater peace of the world.

🕊️ As the moon rose over Robinson, the monks reflected on their long path — knowing that tomorrow’s steps would carry them closer to the heart of their mission. The journey continues, and so does the aspiration for universal peace.
