Walk For Peace – Day 110 – Maryland

🙏 Beautiful Final Day of Our Journey to Washington, DC – Day 109 (2/11/2026)

Today was a beautiful day as we concluded our journey to Washington, D.C. It was a time of joy for the venerable monks, for Aloka, for our entire team, and for everyone who joined and walked with us—both in person and in spirit.

After 109 days and 2,300 miles, we stood together at the Lincoln Memorial, hearts full of gratitude, surrounded by thousands of souls who have believed in peace, supported this mission, and walked this path with us.

In this photo, Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara carries Aloka up in front of the gathering—a beautiful moment of love, peace, and completion shared with everyone present.

We are so deeply thankful for all the support we have received along the way. Every welcome, every smile, every offering, every prayer, and every step you took with us brought us to this beautiful moment of completion today.

This journey would not have been possible without you. Thank you for believing in peace. Thank you for walking with us. Thank you for making this dream a reality.
Today, we celebrate not just the completion of a journey, but the beginning of peace continuing to bloom in all our hearts.

May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏

🙏 Today was an amazing day where thousands of people gathered together with us on the Walk for Peace in Washington, D.C. Together, we walked for peace.

From the morning walk to the Peace Monument to the afternoon walk to the Lincoln Memorial for the Peace Gathering and Concluding Ceremony—every step was shared, every moment was sacred, and every heart was united.

We walked together—people from different cultures, traditions, faiths, and walks of life—all moving as one river of peace through our nation’s capital. This is what it looks like when we choose unity over division, love over fear, and peace over conflict. When we can bring peace to our daily lives, that is when we truly walk for peace together.

May we bring peace, mindfulness, loving-kindness, compassion, and unity into our lives, and may we radiate it to everyone around us and to the whole world.

Thank you for walking with us. Together, we are peace.
May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏
