Public Statement – Walk For Peace Resumes November 22, 2025

After a thorough assessment of the condition of our monks following the recent accident, we are grateful to announce that the Walk For Peace will officially resume tomorrow, November 22, 2025. Following the morning chanting, the Sangha will depart from Dayton at 6:00 AM and continue their journey toward Liberty.
While Bhante Phommasan Dam continues to rest and recover, his spirits remain strong. He has expressed his heartfelt encouragement and wishes the Sangha a peaceful, safe, and mindful continuation of the Walk For Peace. In honor of his resilience, the monks are taking additional safety precautions as the long journey ahead awaits them.
We extend our profound gratitude for the overwhelming prayers, well-wishes, compassion, and support received from around the world. Your kindness has deeply touched the Sangha and strengthened their commitment to cultivate peace with each step.

We also wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Dayton Fire Department and Dayton Police Department for their extraordinary assistance, protection, and unwavering support during this challenging time.
