Guide on How to Track the Walk for Peace Journey Today
We want to make sure everyone knows the best way to follow the Venerable Monks’ journey! Use this guide to track the route, check the map, and find reliable meeting spots.

1. Daily Updates (Reliable Meeting Spots):
Every day, we diligently post the next day’s route, including the estimated lunch stop and the overnight rest location (with the approximate time of arrival).
IMPORTANT: These two locations are the most reliable spots for meeting the Venerable Monks.

2. Live Map (Near Real Time Tracking):
We also keep the Live Map (pinned post on top of page) updated so you can track the Venerable Monks in near real time.
Please Note: The map is only updated several times a day, so the location shown on the map can be slightly delayed compared to the Monks’ real location. Also, the general route shown on the map is only an approximate direction and is subject to change due to conditions.

📍Understanding the Map Icons & Route
Please refer to the colors and pins on the map:
﹋ BLUE LINE: This line marks the planned walking route for the current day.
🚶 ORANGE ICON: Current Estimated Location. This shows the approximate location of the Monks as they are walking along the blue line.
🍴 GREEN ICON: Lunch Area (11:00 AM). This is the planned stop for their midday meal.
🛏️ BLACK ICON: Night Rest Area. This is the stop where the Monks will rest for the night.
✓ YELLOW ICON: Next Far Target. This marks a key city or major destination further down the road, indicating their long-term direction.
