📸 Walk With Us Via Photos – Day 86 – 1/19/2026
On Day 86, thousands of people gathered to welcome us at Truist Point Stadium in High Point, North Carolina. The love, warmth, and peace that filled the air was extraordinary—hearts united, strangers becoming friends, all choosing to stand together for peace.
These beautiful photographs by Cetera J Jacobs Photography capture the spirit of that incredible gathering. Cetera shared these heartfelt words with us:
“My name is Cetera J. Jacobs and today I had the honor of documenting the Walk for Peace monks on Day 86 of their journey as they passed through High Point, NC. As a photojournalist, activist and Black woman, I can’t fully express how meaningful it was to witness and capture these moments on MLK Day. Their message of mindfulness, peace, stillness, and intentional slowing down resonated deeply with everyone in attendance.
I was also one of the few blessed to receive a peace bracelet—simple, orange, and deeply symbolic. To me, it felt like a sign from my late grandmother, whose favorite color was orange. In that quiet exchange, I felt her presence and peace surrounding me.”
Dear Cetera, we are deeply moved by your words and honored that the peace bracelet connected you to your grandmother’s loving presence. Thank you for your open heart, your artistry, and for documenting this peaceful day with such grace.

The elderly man sat quietly in the afternoon,
his eyes looking toward the opposite side of the road with silent hope.
When the monk slowly walked across toward him,
a compassionate smile touched his heart before any words were spoken.
The monk gave him a blessing, embraced him gently,
and placed a small bouquet of flowers in his hands.
That brief moment was filled with meaning—
a simple happiness that lit his heart with warmth and peace.
