How Can I Track The Journey?
You can use the Live Map or the Overview Map to track the journey. The Live Map is for seeing the exact route and stop locations for today. The Overview Map is for seeing the whole progress of the journey and the estimation of arrival at future locations.
How Can I Get A Blessing Cord?
The blessing cord is offered free of charge as a genuine gift—a token of loving-kindness and peace—to everyone who meets the Venerable Monks along the journey. The blessing cord is for reminding you about mindfulness and peace in your life. The Venerable Monks do not sell these cords. Currently, we also do not have an option to send the blessing cord by mail.
Receiving a blessing cord is a precious moment of connection of the journey. We hope you will have the chance to meet the Venerable Monks and receive this gift! You can also ask someone you know to come in person to get the blessing cord for you.
Why Some Veneralbe Monks Do Not Wear Shoes?
We want to assure everyone that the venerable monks and our companion, Aloka, are well-equipped for this journey. We have all the necessary clothing, shoes, and safety gear that can be utilized whenever needed, based on the weather and terrain. If you see some venerable monks not wearing shoes, please know it is because they choose not to wear them as part of their practice.
