“Be grateful for those who betrayed you, as they lead you to important lessons about the nature of impermanence, suffering, and non-self of life. They can help you overcome the illusions you previously held about family happiness, love, and reliance and help you become more independent and resilient. Ultimately, this can lead to more profound empathy and forgiveness.
Instead of focusing on the object of your anger, try to turn inward and truly feel the anger from within without observing from the outside and censoring it. By understanding the root cause of your suffering and reflecting on yourself, you will realize that the cause of suffering is not solely due to being betrayed but rather because of a lack of self-understanding.
When you understand yourself and learn to love yourself, you will experience love blossoming within you.”
