🎉 We Have Arrived in Washington, D.C.! – Day 108 (2/10/2026)

 

After 108 days and 2,300 miles of walking through eight states, we have finally reached our nation’s capital. This is a profound and sacred milestone on our journey for peace.

 

Thank you to Virginia for your beautiful welcome and warm hospitality. Thank you to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina for opening your hearts and roads to us. Each state has blessed us with kindness, support, and love beyond measure.

 

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who has walked with us—whether in person or in spirit—through every state, every mile, and every single step of the way.

🙏 It was so beautiful for us all—from different faiths, traditions, cultures, and walks of life—to walk and stand together under a sacred space today at Washington National Cathedral on Day 108 (2/10/2026), united in our shared
longing for peace, mindfulness, loving-kindness, compassion, and unity.

 

In that moment, our differences didn’t separate us. They enriched us. We stood together, not as strangers from different paths, but as one human family seeking the same gentle light: peace.
May all division gently fade like morning mist. May peace and harmony bring us all together, not just today, but always. May we remember this feeling of standing together, and carry it forward into our lives.

We have so much gratitude to Washington National Cathedral for their warm welcome and for hosting today’s sacred events of Peace Gathering and Interfaith Ceremony.
This afternoon, The Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde and The Very Rev. Randolph Marshall Hollerith welcomed us along with interfaith leaders from across DC near and far to the Cathedral for a moment of peace, mindfulness, and interfaith unity.

 

To be received with such grace, generosity, and open hearts in this sacred space meant everything to us. Thousands gathered together—in person and in spirit—united in the spirit of peace across all traditions and backgrounds.

 

Thank you to The Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde and The Very Rev. Randolph Marshall Hollerith for your leadership, your vision, and your commitment to bringing people together for peace. Thank you to Washington National Cathedral for opening your doors and your hearts to this mission. This was a moment we will carry in our hearts forever.
