🏠 Invitation to Join Us – Homecoming Walk in Fort Worth, TX (February 14, 2026)
We warmly invite everyone to join us for our homecoming walk in Fort Worth, Texas on February 14, 2026!
After departing Washington, DC by bus on February 12, we will arrive in Fort Worth downtown on February 14 at 8:00 AM.
From there, we will walk together approximately 6 miles from downtown Fort Worth back to Hương Đạo Vipassana Bhavana Center—our starting place and home of the Walk for Peace, where this peaceful 2,300-mile journey began.
This is a deeply meaningful moment—completing the full circle, returning home after 110 days of walking for peace.
📌 IMPORTANT LOCATION CHANGE — Update for Day 112 (Feb 14, 2026): Homecoming Walk & Ceremony in Fort Worth, TX
Tomorrow is the day we come home! After 112 days and 2,300 miles, we are returning to Fort Worth, Texas, where this incredible journey first began.
IMPORTANT: Due to weather conditions, we have changed our arrival location to Eastover Park (4300 Ramey Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76105), instead of the Fort Worth Water Gardens as previously announced.
📌 Homecoming Day Schedule – Day 112 (Feb 14, 2026)
– 8:00 AM: Arrival at Eastover Park, 4300 Ramey Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76105.
Homecoming Walk (~1.2 miles): We will walk from Eastover Park back to Hương Đạo Vipassana Bhavana Center, 4717 E Rosedale St, Fort Worth, TX 76105. Everyone is warmly invited to walk alongside the venerable monks on this final homecoming journey!
At Hương Đạo Vipassana Bhavana Center:
– 9:00 AM: Homecoming Ceremony.
– 11:00 AM: Food offering to the Maha Sangha and lunch for all participants.
PARKING NOTE: Parking space at the temple is limited. We kindly suggest carpooling or being dropped off at the temple rather than parking on-site. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
